1. Introduction

OmniReserve ("the Platform") is owned and operated by DailyTechSaga Corp. ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Platform. By using OmniReserve, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.

Profile information: Business name, category, location, description, and profile photos uploaded by vendors.

Booking data: Service selections, appointment dates and times, notes, and booking history.

Usage data: Pages visited, search queries, and interactions with the Platform (collected automatically via logs).

Marketing preferences: Your opt-in or opt-out choices for cross-category promotional communications, recorded at the time of consent.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate and improve the Platform; process and manage bookings; send booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and transactional notifications; respond to support requests; prevent fraud and enforce our Terms; and send service updates.

Cross-Category Marketing Programme (opt-in only): If you have expressly opted in, we may use your phone number and/or email address to send you promotional messages on behalf of vetted vendors operating in service categories different from those you have previously booked. These messages are sent by OmniReserve directly — your contact details are never disclosed to or transferred to any other vendor. You may withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 9).

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP to any SMS, clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or adjusting your notification preferences in your account settings.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only as described below:

With your booked vendor: When you book a service, your name, contact details, and booking information are shared with the vendor you booked.

Platform-mediated marketing: When you opt in to our Cross-Category Marketing Programme, OmniReserve may send promotional messages to you on behalf of participating vendors in other service categories. Your phone number and email address are used solely by OmniReserve for this purpose and are never shared with, sold to, or transferred to any other vendor. Vendors do not receive or retain your contact information through this programme.

With clients: Vendor business name, category, and location are publicly visible on the Platform.

Service providers: We use third-party services (e.g., email delivery, SMS delivery, cloud hosting) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Cross-Category Marketing Programme

OmniReserve operates an opt-in promotional programme that allows clients to discover businesses in service categories they have not previously used on the Platform. For example, a client who has booked beauty services may receive a message about a wellness, fitness, or home services vendor also listed on OmniReserve.

How consent works: Participation requires your clear, affirmative opt-in — pre-selected checkboxes do not constitute consent. You will be asked separately and explicitly before any cross-category messages are sent to you.

What you will receive: Occasional promotional SMS or email messages from OmniReserve introducing vetted vendors in new categories. All messages will clearly identify OmniReserve as the sender and will include the name of the promoting vendor.

Your contact details stay private: The vendor on whose behalf a message is sent does not receive, see, or retain your phone number or email address at any point. OmniReserve acts as the sole sender.

Opting out: You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any SMS (honoured within 10 business days as required by CASL), clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or updating your preferences in Account Settings → Notifications. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional messages related to your existing bookings.

Legal compliance: This programme is operated in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Express consent records are retained for a minimum of 3 years.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for a minimum of 2 years for operational and legal purposes. Consent records for the Cross-Category Marketing Programme are retained for a minimum of 3 years from the date of consent or withdrawal. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at admin@dailytechsaga.com.

7. Cookies

We use session-based authentication tokens stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may clear your browser storage at any time, which will sign you out of the Platform.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted password storage (bcrypt), HTTPS connections, and JWT-based authentication. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; withdraw consent for any or all marketing communications at any time; request a record of your consent history for the Cross-Category Marketing Programme; restrict or object to certain processing; or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@dailytechsaga.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., Google Maps). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days before they take effect. For material changes to how we use your data for marketing purposes, we will seek fresh consent where required by applicable law.
